Oneway Ticket Studio, a new game development studio, announced on the 21st that it unveiled the latest demo version of its new title The Midnight Walkers at Gamescom 2025, the world’s largest game show held in Cologne, Germany.

Since its first reveal in 2024, The Midnight Walkers has attracted attention among global FPS fans through word-of-mouth, surpassing 200,000 wishlists on Steam even before its official release and earning high expectations from hardcore players.

The Midnight Walkers is a PvPvE-based survival FPS in which players engage in fierce battles and strategic escapes in a neo-noir world where night operations take place.

With a permadeath system, destructible environments, and faction-based AI threats, the game features a multi-layered combat structure, and offers a highly immersive play experience through environmental storytelling.

The game’s stability and completeness have been checked through a total of three tests, and at Gamescom 2025, the latest build reflecting feedback from these tests was presented, receiving great response from local players.

The on-site demo booth drew a large number of media and creators from Europe, North America, and Asia, and positive reactions to the gameplay poured in on platforms such as Twitter and YouTube, proving the high level of anticipation.

Oneway Ticket Studio representative said, “Through our participation at Gamescom, we were able to see real user reactions as well as gather various feedback. We will continue to maintain our direction of delivering immersive experiences that maximize high-quality combat and tension, and accelerate development with the goal of releasing in the second half of the year.”

The Midnight Walkers will be officially released in the second half of this year on Steam and console platforms.

Meanwhile, at Gamescom 2025, Oneway Ticket Studio officially signed a partnership with game security specialist ACE(Anti-Cheat Expert) to introduce the ACE PLUS anti-cheat solution into the game.

The ACE PLUS solution provides features such as PC hardening, real-time signature-based detection, manual cheat sample collection, and application of response protocols.

In particular, based on ACE’s more than 20 years of accumulated experience in responding to cheats and its analysis data of over 100 global cheat distribution channels, the studio plans to protect the fairness and immersion of The Midnight Walkers to the fullest.
