August 24, 2025, COLOGNE, Germany-As the global premier gaming event, Gamescom 2025, wrapped up today in Cologne, it successfully brought together top game developers and innovative technology teams from across the world. Marking its third consecutive year at the event, Anti-Cheat Expert (ACE), again demonstrated its role as a leading provider of game security solutions throughout the exhibition.
At the event, Tencent ACE (Anti-Cheat Expert) showcased its comprehensive security solutions built upon two decades of hands-on experience to global gaming professionals. Leveraging its extensive expertise in attack and defense, the team has established a mature security architecture capable of protecting various products including mobile and PC games. Through continuous innovation, Tencent ACE remains committed to providing stable and professional security assurance for developers and players worldwide.
At Devcom, Yue Wang, Technical Director of Mobile Game Security from ACE, delivered a keynote address titled "The Invisible War: A Global Defense Perspective on Mobile Game Anti-Cheat" to an international audience of game developers.
He analyzed the primary risks and challenges currently facing the global mobile gaming industry from an international perspective, systematically elaborated on the operational mechanisms of cheating tools and corresponding defense strategies, and introduced a comprehensive protection framework that includes reinforcement and universal anti-cheat solutions. Through real-world cases, he demonstrated the applicability and limitations of various security solutions across diverse scenarios, providing highly valuable references for developers worldwide.
At Gamescom, ACE announced a new collaboration with acclaimed South Korean game development studio, Oneway Ticket Studio. A subsidiary of WeMade, a major Korean online game company, Oneway Ticket recently captured global player attention with the worldwide public beta of its new shooter title, The Midnight Walkers. ACE is providing its comprehensive anti-cheat security solution to protect the gaming experience of Oneway Ticket’s upcoming project.
As is widely recognized, shooter games are particularly vulnerable to cheating. According to Defending the Digital Playground: Guide to Game Protection, over 70% of cheating tools detected by Tencent Games targeted shooter titles. Hence, a robust anti-cheat solution is essential to safeguarding such games.
Amidst fierce competition among international anti-cheat providers, Oneway Ticket Studio selected ACE, a decision that underscores ACE’s technical expertise and proven effectiveness. Wonhyuk Rhee, Business Director of Oneway Ticket Studio, commented:“As anti-cheat technologies advance, so do cheating methods. Nowadays, small and mid-sized studios can no longer handle anti-cheat efforts on their own. ACE has demonstrated exceptional containment capabilities in Asia, a region where cheat software is highly prevalent—and has shown significantly better operational initiative and response speed compared to other solutions.”
At Gamescom, ACE showcased a comprehensive suite of security solutions designed for the global gaming industry, covering areas such as mobile/PC game hardening, mobile/PC game anti-cheat, etc.
Powered by two decades of hands-on security experience and AI-driven technology, ACE has built an end-to-end security product matrix that has been deployed across multiple regions worldwide, serving hundreds of millions of players. Its solutions are already integral to the operation of globally renowned titles including Delta Force, PUBG Mobile, Call of Duty Mobile.
With proven stability, strong compatibility, and extensive coverage, ACE has earned the trust and partnership of game developers around the globe.
